everyone thinks they all have the "evidence" even when it is based on lies and manipulation. we use to have mountains of scientific evidence that the world was flat too. When people want to believe something, they always find "mountains of evidence" to support their beliefs. rarely do they look for the obvious fallacies.

the law was changed by Bush at the end of 2007, so the only year to compare would be 2008, which is what this article states. Also, the numbers compare a full year of Bush, while only 9 months of Obama.

shotgun mics do not have parabolic dishes, those are, um, parabolic mics, which use an omni-directional condenser to collect the sound from the dish. A "boom mic" is really just another term for a shotgun (or really any) mic mounted on a boom, but it is traditionally a shotgun, as is shown in the picture.
