The point of water boarding is to make you tell what you do NOT want to tell. The journalist who gave up after 6 seconds is a great example of how water boarding WORKS. He did not want to give in but did. He was motivated the same as a terrorist. WE DID get good intel from the 3 suspects who were water boarded. Yes they were Muslim. They also were responsible for the deaths of over 3000 Americans in a strike against this country that was illegal and immoral according to international rules of conduct. If your life was saved thanks to Water Boarding, if your town, community, or state were spared would you think the same way? What would you do to save your child?
