Depends on the intended audience of the site. If the audience is business related either B2B or POS then, like it or not, it had better work. And, if the site is for a paying client it had better work on everything from IE7 through a mobile device and iPad.

The first problem is calling it a science when it has all the appearance of being a politically, and financially, motivated pseudoscience at present. At best the debate is based on partial and often questionable data and computer models. Computer models are not the real world.

Strange argument. The Federal Reserve System is not "owned" by anyone and is not a private, profit-making institution. Instead, it is an independent entity within the government, having both public purposes and private aspects.

But to extend it, since everything you buy is with that money everything you think you own must, in reality, belong to the government.
